After a full week of scouting, competing, and testing in Indianapolis, the 2023 NFL Combine is officially wrapped up and in the books.

Tennessee had seven players representing the Volunteers on their way to the NFL at the combine. That would include star receivers Jalin Hyatt and Cedric Tillman, offensive tackle Darnell Wright, quarterback Hendon Hooker, edge rusher Byron Young, linebacker Jeremy Banks, and punter Paxton Brooks.

The players that Tennessee put on the field all performed well. In fact, some of them were outstanding.

Hyatt and Tillman ended the combine as the No. 1 and No. 4-graded receivers from the combine, while Hyatt was near the top of every speed testing stat available. Darnell Wright blew scouts away with his speed, and so did Young. The former Tennessee defensive end posted a 4.43 40-yard dash time, which was the same that future Pro Bowl NFL receiver Justin Jefferson ran during his combine.

Check out a ton of highlight videos from the weekend on the field below. In addition, be sure to check out RTI’s other NFL Combine coverage for more on Tennessee’s seven competitors at the event.
